    Best advice would be to consult the installation manual for the particuliar equipment that you are working with.

    step it up

    Go one size biger on the suction line. for example if it call for 3/4 then go with 7/8. You might have to add a ounce of oil and some freon, but you should be ok..

    read manual it talks about this.
