    Question

I have a friend that will need a new furnace for a 14 by 70 ft mobile home. I do commercial hvac refrigeration so am not that well versed in residential. Anyone have suggestions on btu and furnace types. It is in the northwest. Thanks in advance.

    Load calc...

There are only a few units that are certified for trailer homes...

    Nordyne, Miller, & Thermopride.

You are aware that it's against code to install a normal house furnace in a trailer?

Are residential electric heat only? I will have to get info for a load calc. Are there free programs to get?

You might try the one at the top "red tab".

There are many here that use and rely on it daily.

There are a few furances that are approved for mobile home use, I'm sure Carrier has some. You'll have to check the ratings from each manufacturer.
