Hi,

I'm contemplating getting a small (i.e. 25-30 pint) stand-alone dehumidifier for an 1800sq foot home. I was hoping to put it in the master bath and run it while showering to soak up any excess moisture. And also use it to help reduce humidity in the home by 2%-3% for those times when the temps outside are moderate and the A/C doesn't run much.

My question is, can I put the dehumidifier in the master bath and likely achieve what I'm hoping for?? Or would the "effectiveness" of the unit be greatly compromised due to it not being more centrally located in the home?
