    Here’s a basic control question some of you guys might be able to help me with. Are there any conventional (2h/2c) commercial thermostats that will accept a contact closure for TOV functions? I need to use a contact closure from a wall timer to initiate an occupied period for after hours employees and I don’t want them messing with the actual thermostat.

    As we all know, thermostats can be very complicated to office personnel. It’s much easier to tell people to twist the knob.

    could you use

    a digital setback thermostat with locking keypad and program it for occupied times and call it good?

    Honeywell T7300 makes a separate TOV button that can be remotely mounted

    JCI's T600, much cheaper then H/W, about half the price, mainly because you don't need a subbase with JCI's
