    Manitowoc runs out of water

So the water fills , then goes into ice mode , then couple min later fills again , then 20 min later theres not enough water in the sump and the ice bridge is only 1/8 thick , so its just stalls there ....water pump humming away but no water to pump.... Why wont it add more water ?

It only needs to be 1/8”
20 mins is probably too long also.
Got a model number with air temp going into the condenser and water temperature going into the inlet valve?

If you are not loosing water replace on-off switch. Only refills once on some machines after initial fill.

Sounds like a bad ice thickness sensor to put it into harvest and dirty water fill sensor

I have seen the water fill sensor fall out of its housing. Make sure that the fill sensor is properly secured.

Is the water is dripping off of the curtain into the bin? Be sure it's level and or the magnet is holding. Those magnetic switches will remained satisfied even if not touching the curtain but the water can splash into the bin. Is the curtain warped? Yea, they put them in the dishwasher. The machines only tops water off one tine durning the freeze cycle.
I have also seen a replacement non OE pump push the water too fast also splashing water into the bin.
