McQuay panel and setting up CHW Reset Question

Chiller is a Model PFH063 made in 1996 with a Microtech panel. I would like to connect it the BAS panel and do chilled water reset via a 4-20ma signal. There are terminals available for that in the panel.
My question is whether the chiller panel needs to be programmed to see the input and if so where can I find some information on what the procedure is to do so.
Thanks in advance for any help.
If you can't fix it with JB Weld, Duct Tape, and Ty Wire it has to be replaced.

I don't have that information available to me at the moment.
