Had a real rough day at work today, got home around 5 and decided I'd take a quick power nap. I just woke up after 6 1/2 hours. Now what do I do? Aw screw it, I guess I'll go back to bed! What a friggin day, at least I should be rested for tomorrow!

That's one of the reasons why I don't take naps in the evening. I'll oversleep and wake up when I should be going to bed.
    Get back to work.™

Well here it is 13 1/2 hours later and almost continuous sleep and you think I would wake up feeling refreshed and ready to go, bull! I am MORE tired now than I was when I took the nap. Maybe I should just take the day off and go back to bed!

Has this ever happened to you? While sleeping, without knowing it, get up and get something to eat? I must have as there is a half eaten bowl of leftover speghetti on the table and my kids say it wasn't theirs. God, I hate when I do that.

LOL, yea your right. I guess I'm going to have to padlock the frig and hide the key. The scary thing is this isn't the first time that has happened. One time a few years ago I went to bed with only 1 cigarette left and when I woke up I ahd a whole carton. When I stooped at 7-11 that morning for my coffee the clerk asked if I was ok, I wondered why and then realized what I did. I was there two hours earlier while sleepwalking, I drove to the store and bought cigarettes. The clerk said I was acting strange (drunk) and bought the smokes. I didn't remember a thing. Since that time I now put my keys in a drawer instead of on the countertop.

No, that's the problem. I didn't wake up. I don't remember it at all.

Actually no, the only drugs I take right now are the ones for my heart condition.

I have always had a problem with sleep. I go from one extreme to the other. I'll go for days/weeks without sleeping except for an hour here or there and then I'll go through a period where I want to do nothing but sleep. I have at times taken different medications for it but it destroys me the next day.

I was just diagnosed with a type of sleep disorder. It seems that when I do sleep I reach a point of REM and stop breathing for a moment or two and cause me to not reach the REM sleep needed. Hopefully this will be taken care of at my next sleep study appointment.

I figured if I did do any drugs I'd probably sleep drive to McDonald's and get a double cheeseburger and then complain about it the next day because it cost me .50 more than usual.

Actually I know, when I was typing this I couldn't think of the word. Yea, I understand how dangerous it is. I have one more possibly two appointments with this specialist to see what they are going to do. I have been warned NOT to take any type of sedatives because of this. They are considering a couple of different things, one is to have me where a oxygen mask at night while sleeping and the other is surgery. The surgery would get rid of the snoring by opening up my airways and allowing my throat muscles to relax without closing. I guess I find out soon enough.
