    Condenser fins

What is the best way to cut back condenser fins? Have a leak on a 30 ton Aaaon system and found the leak in the condenser tube located in the far back coner ( very tight) place. Someone before me cut the rubber between the pipes and has caused this vibration leak. Also some jumpered the fourth compressor contactor and compresser ran so hot discharge line turned a different color due to the heat from running very close to zerocharge refer left in system. Its a scroll r-22 12 ton copeland. The comp ohms at 1.6 per leg. I think it would be a risk charging and keeping I would replace comp if it was me. Just don't trust comp.
