    on another thread someone asked what a bottle washer is and got this reply

    I love working with kids. They never heard of some of the old sayings or old jokes..

    "I'm chief cook and bottle washer." means you are a one man show. You do it all.



    I didnt want to say that the guy didnt know S##T from shineola

    so what are some other sayings from yrs past

    Actually, he didn't know **** from shampoo, which is why his hair always stunk so bad.

    Karst means cave. So, I search for caves.

    Hey I made that statement.

    FYI Shineola was shoe polish. So I do know the difference!!! You better "sit on a tack and call for a hammer."
