Me and my wife are bird lovers. In South America she grew up having macaws, toucans, falcons, monkeys, etc as pets.
Any way she just bought a 6 week old conure which is a small green bird with a grayish under belly about the size of a cockatiel. In two days she has this bird potty trained.
All she has to do is say "poop" to the bird and he drops a bomb. Everytime. She puts it on paper, or on the ground and says "poop" and step back. Amazing. Good thing they go to bathroom every 20-30 minutes.

Conures are noisy and can bite like a T-Rex. But nothing like my green wing macaw parrot. That bad boy can break a finger if you cross him the right way and can wake up neighbors when he screams. But all in all he talks to you and thats coooool. He can actually communicate with you at about the level of a 2 or 3 year old baby.
If he doesn't like something he screams "stop it" "stop it"
He's even bi-lingual. He has a 30-35 word vocabulary.
