I believe 15 feet but not positive. I don't have a code book with me right now.

10' from any source of ignition to the meter per NFPA. That distance is measured straight line.

    Is this NG or LP?

    Woah people, Woah.

    5 feet, 10 feet, 15 feet?

15 feet from a meter is the entire side of a house sometimes. Same with 10'.

    3-5' people, for access.

Would depend on what your inspector wants.

    Just give access.
"Better tell the sandman to stay away, because we're gonna be workin on this one all night."

"Dude, you need more than 2 wires to a condenser to run a 2 stage heatpump."

    "Just get it done son."

Here it is 10 feet from the regulator vent. I have had some inspectors make the gas company extend the vent away from the outdoor unit.
Karst means cave. So, I search for caves.
