Another two story tooftop.
There is NO place to use a single ladder to reach the top section. Where the HEAT PUMP is located.

Looks to be close to 50 in this area all fukked up the same.

You HAVE to use two ladders. And WHO carries TWO telescoping ladders? Not me. So the 8 foot step ladder is all I have to bring up here. And then you have to pull yourself up the rest of the way. Then hop another wall to get to the unit.
Nice service set up huh?!

To do a HEAT PUMP HEATING maintenance in the HEAT!
This unit tripped off repeatedly at 600+ PSI (R410).

Damn. Getting up here to fix a POS Carrier/Bryant is bad enough. But to do this at LEAST twice a year. That's crazy. Obvious the office personel sold this service agreement.

Your question is: "Who designs these Phoenix rooftops?"
My answer is: Someone who will never-ever have to climb his ass up there!

That style looks like a Gosnell Builders building. The same co that built the Pointe resorts. I have never seen construction and planning as bad as the Pointe buildings.

Yeah. I know what you are talking about. Same ****, different area.
Like NORTH of Peoria. East of 7th st, WEST of Cave Creek. You take CLinton street, up to Shangri La, Desert Cove, etc.
Ring a Bell???
Those SUCK too. And some times of the year, they have a **** load of them big bumble bee looking things all over!
Just what you want when you're STUCK up on a 2 story hell hole!

The only thing that piece of prime real estate is missing is a yellowjacket nest.Remember common sense is not very common.

How funny. I just posted about giant bees, and you think of yellow jackets.
Bees are bad. I don't even want to THINK of Yellow Jackets up there! It's a LONG way to JUMP down!

Have two sets of them. One for 410, one for 22.
only problem is the rubber in the hose where it connects to the manifold has been known to crush when you tighten too much. Therefore restricting flow.
So I have inserted small bushings into it to keep it from crushing.
I also occasionally get a small leak at one of the ball valves every now and then. I close and open the valve and then it will be ok. It's only critical when using the micron gauge doing a vacuum. Most of the time they hold under 700 microns.

Yup. I think Florida and Texas are similar to AZ, except we have shorter duration of the high humidity
