    York password.

    Does anyone know how to determine the super user password for a York machine? it changes everyday, but there has to be a calculation...

    There is no such password for all York panels. The Optiview panel uses an Admin password to reset certain faults, which imprudent reset could lead to further destruction of the chiller. And yes, its calculated, but not by a simple formular.

    I have the user password and service password. The super user password
    used to be the date added together, but now it changed.

    Once you get the "Super" password. you can always use it by simply changing the date on the Opti-view panel to match the password given...Velly-velly sneaky way to do it..

    Is there any commen super user passwords that you know of? I just need to change the low chilled water setpoint.

    9675 allowed me to change it on my YST's, But not my YG's.

    This is true but you need to know the check sum # on the microboard and when the code # was givin then you can match the date if everything matches up. Your good to go.
