I'm using one of my weeks of vacation to relax and do some stuff around the house. I take a week off in September every year and start with a long list of projects to do around the house. Usually I blow off half or more of the projects, wich is the "fun" of the "vacation".
So far my "vacation" has consisted mostly of checking this damn infernal site every 15 minutes.
I gota stop, I have stuff to do, and/or blow off while I have another beer!

That's funny.
I stopped working completely, customers call for estimates, clean & checks, repairs, and I tell them that I'm just too damn busy... all I do now is sit at my laptop and read all the crap that has been posted here for the last 4 yrs...
I need help!!

Admitting your problem is the first step towards recovery.

Hello. My name is Len and I'm an HVAC-Talk addict. My last post was 12:48 today. My modem went on the fritz last weekend and I had to watch the NFL to maintain.
Help!

I check this site when I wake up, if i come home for lunch, when I get home at night, and all evening untill my wife drags me away kicking and screaming

This is bullcrap, and I think I am qualified to say so!
HVAC-Talk is NOT ADDICTING!
I have been posting several posts a day, every day, for over four years and I can tell you that there is nothing "addicting" about it.
Geez, whatareya; looking for support?

See now Robo has it under control. He can quit anytime he wants to. I have logged on at least three times in the past year when he was not online.

Gee! Robo may have a point. I can quit anytime I want, too. Now that I think about it, I have already quit about 4500 times in 2 years.
I feel better already.

HVAC-Talk anonymous only has a meeting annually. It is usually near the end of August. From the rumors I've heard it nearly doubles in members every year.
