    Thumbs down

Well got my electric bill in today, I was without electricity for 5 days, my electric bill is more this month than last month, and overall the time period was slightly cooler, my parents have the same issue.

They estimated or there's a computer mistake. Call 'em. Read your meter, too. You might find the reading on the bill is still higher than the meter. Happened to my in-laws last winter. $225 bill...computer glitch or entry error...got nearly $100 off the next bill.

I've had somewhat similar problems here before, but for me it just depended on when they read the meter. Sometimes it was just short of a month, others it was just over a month.

Yeah watch out for those meter readers, the electric companies like to play a cat and mouse game of adding the final days of summer on to your bill beforee the fall rates kick in, last year I ended up with 40 days on my august bill , and sure enough the rates wemt to fall in sept and I got a 21 day ball.

They are hitting us with a surcharge to pay for reapirs from Ivan
The way we build has a greater impact on our comfort, energy consumption and IAQ than any HVAC system we install.
