Air Care Limited is a privately held Bermudian company and was established in 1985, since then, we have grown considerably within the industry and we are currently seeking to hire a Chiller technician.

Job Description:
Electric and Diesel driven Fire pump/sprinkler inspection, testing, and repair. Technician must have experience with fire pumps, sprinkler systems, tamper and flow switches, complete knowledge of wet and dry fire sprinkler systems, as well as the ability to perform inspection and testing to NFPA 20 and NFPA 25. Technician should also be proficient in identifying code compliance, and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
Job Duties:
•Inspection, testing, and installation of fire sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pumps, and clean agent systems at various industrial, commercial and institutional facilities in accordance with code.
•Perform inspections, test and repair/replacement of fire hose and fire hydrants.
•Other duties may include the inspection of fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers.
•Generating reports, proposals, and any other documentation based on inspection findings.
Qualifications
•8 years’ experience with Fire Sprinkler System inspection, testing, troubleshooting and/or installation.
•Successful completion of a trade/vocational school.
•Knowledge of all types of sprinkler systems to include wet, dry, deluge, pre-action systems, fire pumps, standpipe systems, and associated equipment.
•Currently possess one of the following certifications:
oNICET certification in Fire Sprinkler subfield.
oCFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association)
oNFPA (National Fire Protection Association)
•Good written and verbal skills.
•Computer knowledge.
•Formal hands on training in Inspecting, Maintaining and Repairing.
•Must have excellent work habits, be punctual and presentable at all times.
•Knowledge in reading blueprints, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.
Additional Skills Desired:
•Electrical knowledge with fire alarm panels a plus.
•Certifications in Sprinkler/Standpipe a plus.
•Fire protection programming experience.
•Management/Leadership experience.
