I was just on vacation and I spent half my day sleeping and the other half on this site. All in all it was a good vacation.

Hey I would join H A , except I know there will be a step that requires me to say I'm sorry to everyone that I have offended, and that would take a long time to accomplish. So I'll keep doin what I'm doin.

No, honey I swear I wasn't on THAT site again. Yes we will talk tonight and we will go out to dinner and act like a married couple. If you just get dinner ready I will be down in just a minute, I promise.

    What the ....

After reading this thread something clicked, and clicked, and clicked again. I checked my mail, I have a folder just for HVAC-Talk. There are over 222 messages in there from August 1st.... My regular inbox has 50, from the past year.

Well, they say the first step is admitting it. Never got as far as hearing what the second step is supposed to be.

So, I'm an addict. And I like it...

I'm having too much fun. Plus nobody like a quitter.

A side note, this place has been the best place that I have found to learn about my profession of what to do and mostly what not to do.
Happiness is the only good. The time to be happy is now. The place to be happy is here. The way to be happy is to make others so.

    Yikes. THAT sounds familiar!

She don't understand when I need to just click that button and let my pix upload.

Then come back and post them

And I'm not addicted at all. I sometimes can stay away from the place for 24 hours. Occasionally. Like when CAMPING.

But sometimes when I'm waiting on dispatch or for the vacuum pump, I've been connecting and posting from my work vehicle while sitting in front of the customer's house.

But that's not signs of an addict.

Ok ok I am an addict too.
    I admit so there.
Just last night my wife said this site is starting to get between us. "What can you possibly get out of spending so much time on that dame site?? Dont most guys look at porn?"
To me it tells me how much I love this feild. Its year three for me and It just gets better all the time.
I tell her there are people on this site I have never met but have great admiration and respect for.

Tonight when I picked up my laptop to log on I caressed it and wispered "my precious". The wife had a good laugh when I mentioned this post!!

Hah, despite the addiction to this site, and random urges to blow off this project, and to much beer, I got something mostly done today!

Been needing a sub panel in my garage to handle AC, massive new lighting, bank of plugs on my work bench, 5hp 75 gallon 15.9cfm @ 90psi air compressor, welder, etc...

Ran 6/3 wire in conduit up from the main panel, then 60 ft through the attic.

Out through the soffet on the other side of the house.

In through the garage wall. Garage was origonally detatched, so no connection through the attic between it and the house.

Into the sub panel. That air handler is level, its the wall that is out of whack, I swear! :O

Got the electrical done to the outdoor unit.

2 ton outdoor unit, 3 ton indoor unit. Gona run 600 CFM per ton since I don't really care about controlling the humidity much. I just wana switch it on and cool it down fast when I'm doing some work on my cars.
Got all the equipment for free, so I decided not to cheep out at all on the electrical.
If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.
