I'm looking at a new 5 ton System..
I have prices for the XR13 with the GAM5 air handler that is 13.75 SEER
And a XR15 with the GAM5 air handler that is 14 SEER..
Is there any difference in these condensers that warrants the extra cost of the XR15?

the xr15 is a little more efficient....same warranty..the xr15 is a little bigger in size dimensions. i would also ask about the tam7 unit. it is variable speed the tam5 is not

If the only gain you get is .25 seer, than I would say no, not worth the cost.
For those who don't know, the seer rating is a reference to the amount of cooling received for 1 Kilo Watt of electricity.
so 13 seer means 13 btu's per KW
15 seer means 15 btu's per KW
and so on.
