I read in the paper this morning

That every man, woman, and child that lives in the State of Alaska recieves a check from the State, based on their oil exports. $2000 per person in 2000, a little over $900 per person in 2005. What a deal. Why can't we do that down here in the lower States? We all have oil also. A guy that I work with father is getting 7 million dollars a month, just in royalty. Hard to believe. Roy

Yes, that is true. I have been there 3 times. Wages are high also. I met a girl there that worked at a casino and lived very well off. It is just strange coming home at midnight with the sun up. . It's just too damn cold!

It can't be cold all of the time. Hell, how would she feel down south. When your inside, then you walk outside your glasses fog up. No see anything for 5 minutes.

No, it's not cold all the time. The 3 weeks it is not they have mosquitoes as big as your head with drop tanks under their wings.
