Thread: dual pacs

    I have gotten two quotes on a dual pac for my home. Both are for a 16 seer 5 ton unit. One is for a Trane and the other is an American Standard. I do not have model numbers.
    Both instalations are about the same. One quote is a thousand dollars higher. I would also say both companies are very reputable.
    My question is which brand is better? Both are made by the same company.

    Trane will be quieter due to insulation, other than that no difference in the equipment (most likely). Check the warranty, that makes a big difference.
