    Need advice on line set and oil strap

    Hi please give me some advice and recommend ,used 3T with 7/8 SL 3/8 LL but my split SYS between condenser and coil about 15feet and 1 FT different heigh ,do I need install oil strap and can I use 7/8SL instead 3/4 SL is there any different of efficiency ,performance affect or not any suggest very appreciate .

    You don't need oil trap and for residential systems you can go as high as 1 1/8 in SL its a little more efficiant. If your lines are 100 ft or more you will need a LL solinoid.

    HI ac andy thank for the advice but let say with 15fts can I use 7/8 " or can i uesd 3/4 " for SL which one most affective

    7/8 is better. You can go larger in SL on unit specs but never go smaller. It is more efficiant but not by a lot.

    So let go little bit detail 3T unit , the the length SL from Condenser to Evaporator coil is 15 FTS if I do have install 7/8" line SL which is better compare with 3/4" SL or I must go with 3/4 " what would be see any different and if I go with 7/8" would see any different or any affect >?.Thank a lot

    It is better to install 7/8 in case you go with a high efficiancy unit with 410a some units 16 seer and above require 7/8 - 1 1/8
