Hello cool aid...
look at the attached and study...
at this point of your career focus on the theory of operation...
if you can grasp the concepts slowly you will be able to transfer those over to specific equipment...
i agree with randy, you will need to understand the purge cycle but in the meantime...
chew on this...

Ahh, don't worry, if its a gov job you won't have to do anything anyways, like the other few million non productive gov employees in the country.

thats a good thing !
at least he knows i really do care bout the job and im trying to learn.
im motivated and i like this stuff !
thanks alot guys for the information ! i was really nervous to be there because I didn't know anything but the theory of absorption systems. So far I learned how to purge the system and I have to keep logs of how the lead chiller is operating. they have their own carrier guy that comes in to do anything major. other than that I have 30+ air handlers, 4 PTAC's, and about 7 split systems to keep me busy loll
i changed the outside unit of an old split system on friday. the guy before me had overcharged the system so much that the back pressure read retard lol the compressor valves gay way so it was no good. They had a unit just like it in the storage area so the old one was replaced.
the job got done, they were happy and stuff like that makes me feel good
