We did a lot with Scott & Liz, we really enjoyed their company and seemed to get along really well.
We still may get together one of these days at that summer house you guys have access to, would be a blast.

American Revolution

Saint Simons Island Georgia's next military contribution was not until the American Revolution, when timber harvested from Gascoigne Bluff was used to build the USS Constitution, known as "Old Ironsides" for the way the cannonballs bounced off the hard live oak planking.

Anyway, sort of an inside joke, big sign on the ship, "Constellation." Scott kept calling it the Constitution........all day long.......imagine if he drank??........

I believe the USS Constellation was the oldest and last frigate to be used by the U.S. Navy when it was reinstated in WWII to be sunk in the harbor to ward off German U-boats.
