The area is devastated. It takes time I heard a lady on TV today say why isn't the military doing anything? It really is simple they are. The rest are standing by waiting for orders. Usually there are too many volunteers. The water has to be stopped first then some thing has to be done with the homeless. It is a mess.

At sea level, that town is underwater, I'm thinking why did they build a town right next to the ocean under sea level anyway? Only other place I know of like that is Holland.

I remember hearing a segment on N.P.R.,a few years ago , about how devistating it would be if the levee broke in New Orleans .

Frigetater is one we need to pray for and worry about. His pre-storm post said he is 35 mi north of the Mississippi coast and that is showing as one of the worst hit areas, even inland.

I was in Biloxi in February at a conference at one of the casinos and I can not believe the devestation and the pictures. everything that was there is gone.

Just heard on end of his show, it is a 3 hr special airing at 8:00 Eastern time on Larry King show. Also heard that many states are sending National Guard Units to help down there. Things will get worse when hunger and idleness sets in. What a tragedy.

Our company is going to send some refrigerated trucks with ice. The guys at work are setting up a fund at one of the banks for donations. Well put together other projects for the disaster as soon as we get them coordinated.
