Our hearts and prayers are with the victims of Katrina. I am in awe of the damages left from the storm.
If you can see it in your heart to donate a few dollars to the charitable organization of your choosing I am sure the families who recieve the benefits will be appreciative. I can only imagine how they lived just the day before and how they are trying to survive the days after.
We, at my household, are not monetarily rich but we made a contribution this morning to a trusted organization. Our feeling is Americans need to look after Americans and that our Government can not do everything.
Hopefully, this will help in its own small way as a blessing to someone we do not know.

I am glad to see the Navy and Marines going in there with the National Guard. The towns in my area are loading up trucks to take things there.
