I live in Toronto and we are replacing our 24 year old gas furnace for a high efficiency one. My contractor gave me a range of quotes from the top carrier ones to a keeprite. He suggested the Goodman claiming that they had improved in quality a lot in the past couple of years. He said that if the new unit broke down more than 5 times in 2 years he would even replace it. The contractor is very reputable. Is it true that Goodman has gotten better?
