hi my name is jim, I got out of hvac school few years ago, did it for six mo. found a better job and left the hvac field.Iam currently putting my own air cond. in. I'm not sure that the A coil matches the outside unit. I have a 5/8 line set and the fitting on the A coil looks like 7/8. The flow contro check valve(fccv) that came with the unit does not fit with the A coil. My condensing unit is American standard ton and a half 12 seer. THe model number 2a7b2018-060a. A coil is Healthy solutions model number ta02230c1458160567. How do i know if the coil matches the condensing unit or line sets. Thanks for any help Jim

You won't get 12 SEER putting that outdoor unit on the 02230 coil. You may get closer if you put on a TXV kit but the way it comes from the factory with a piston, probably 10.5 to 11 SEER. The coil should have 3/4" suction line. And no, the piston that comes with the unit won't fit that coil.
