2 15 of those post were this week alone.
3 in NJ every one has to get a Lead Renovator card. Here is the short version:
If the home is older than 1978 EPA requires you have to do the following, if you are going to cut a hole bigger than 3x2 (6sq") , hand booklet about Lead saftey... test for lead if present .... seal of room... due work... use HEPA vacuum... final clean up with swifter and clorax wipes... make sure no dust is presant fill out paper work... it a new thing and alot of people are not doing it yet. BUt the inspectors are starting to get trained in it. We just had our first town tell us that they will be looking for the paper work upon final...

Abement is a 40 hour class and another 710 bucks to shovel in a garabage bag tie a goose neck on it and throw it to the curb. It a joke but a serious one.
