Digital Gauges
I'm looking to buy some digital gauges that read superheat, subcooling, and microns. I'm looking to spend around $300 what would be the best quality for the money???

digi-cool

Micron gauges are for reading microns in a vacuum. Refrigerant gauges are for reading pressures

Yellow Jacket's Refrigeration System Analyzer cost around $725 and Fieldpiece SMAN3 cost around $350. Remember, you get what you pay for! Sometimes you get even less. Don't buy a digital gauge set just because it's digital, calculates subcooling, calculates superheat and has a built in micron gauge. If it only last 6-12 month before you have to send it in to be re-calibrated what's the point? How many units were serviced incorrectly before you realized it was no longer calibrated correctly? How much does re-calibration cost? Hope this helped.

tgere is a lot of peace of mind knowing you have very
good customer support with only a phone call.
