LOL The only real research I did on this was talking to a plumber wholesaler "Hughes" that said >>>Technically, that is not a Y but a 45 degree branch fitting.

you guys must be in the stone ages. lennox has used concentric terminations since the 1980s. not much need for 90% furnaces down there i guess!!!

If not, it's installed somewhere in PA. Thankfully, not my house.

Good catch Dave. That is the sidewalk to my house (yes, somewhere in PA). It looks very similar on the side of a house though.Government is a disease......masquerading as its own cureEcclesiastes 10:2 NIV

It's funny what is common place in one area, is unheard of in another.
Those two kits are very common up here, sort of the "profesional" way of doing it. I really like the bayvent kit myself. Very nice looking when done.

In other words, if a furnace manufacturer does not show a Bayvent termination in any venting installation literature, that termination would not pass inspection.Government is a disease......masquerading as its own cureEcclesiastes 10:2 NIV

Ugghh... WHY!? lol I liked it when Trane was the only one that had it.. Cuz every time I go by a home, I knew there was a Trane in there..
Now I see the Lennox dealer is using them. :-( :-(
I think Trane should be the only one that use BAYVENT
