    Receiving credit hours towards apprenticeship

I was wondering, if you have an Electrical license 309A and start an apprenticeship in Hvac 313A or 313D, will the ministry of training credit you some hours towards your apprenticeship?

I know that as an electrical apprentice if you have an electrical technologist diploma they give you 1250 hours credit towards your apprenticeship. They break it down 250 hours less per term. Would the same apply to Hvac if you hold a 309A license? Hvac is supposed to be like 80% electrical according to every contractor I have spoken to.

Depends who you are doing your apprenticeship with. I know in my union guys who had experience could take a placement test and if you tested really well they would knock off a year or 2 off your total schooling.
