yesterday, fellow service tech serviced a trailer reefer unit and replaced an alternator. Conversation with driver reveals that he is under contract to FEMA. went from Florida to Indiana to pick up a trailer load of ice, took the ice to New Orleans and sat for 8 days, FEMA didn't need ice and sent him and 100 other truckloads to cold storage a few miles from our shop and unloaded. now he's on his way back to Indiana to get more ice and back to New Orleans. can't use first trailer load of ice because this next load is under a different P.O... WTF??? many questions arise here !!! (TRUE STORY)
