I was amazed
Went to a home for a PM yesterday and found two Lennox condensers from 1984 - HS18-311-41. The units were in tip top shape....a little faded, but the coils were clean and strait, contactors were still in good shape, caps ok, no freon leaks....all original parts.
The only thing wonky was a gold T87 stat on the first floor I replaced."If anybody can draw on the power, where do we put the meter?" - JP Morgan before pulling Tesla funding

Very tidy as well and as old. I didn't get into them much for the exception of checking the filters...which were clean.

Did they have expansion valves on the evap coils and were they heat pumps or air conditoners
