    old varitrac ccp

    tried communicating with ccp thru direct connection on laptop said I was connected but no menu tried different baud rates but still same thing said I was connected but no menu it is around 1996 version any ideas?

    Are you using the Trane cable? did you try M with your caps lock on?

    yes using trane cable did not try M with caps lock on will try that monday

    The baud rate should be 1200, 8, none, 1, xon/xoff, try also changing the text format (I can't remember to what). If you are truly connected and can't get the menu screen to pop up, it has got to be a setup issue.

    The baud rate could actually be anything. it is changeable. I would try 1200 first then try the others.
