    I love my dog but....

He is about 8 yrs old and was fixed as a pup. This habit only started about 2yrs ago mainly in the warmer months. He mounts and has a good ol time with only a certain stuffed animal (the others he has ripped the faces off of) and with his bed in the family room. The one he has in the bed room he just lays on. Anyone have a reason why?

    American Eskimo miniature (18lbs)

edit: title has changed..sorry if i was to blunt

Well, he needs a girlfriend. Even if he can't reproduce. You know, you're a guy. You did do the right thing by nutering though. Shows you're a good owner. Maybe try walking him? I try to walk my 2 dogs twice a day. It's about time right now as a matter of fact.
Took 'em swimming today. They loved it.

With the wife being a professional animal trainer and owns a dog training buisnes as a side job, as well as myself also being a dog trainer on the side. This is usually a dominance issue, when a neutered dog does this.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Don't know if 11,000 posts is a good thing, or bad thing. It's some thing though.

had a cust once with a medium sized male dog that i was ok with when i worked there as far as him growling at me or anything threatening
while i'm working there...once , i made a big mistake of petting him when i came in with no one home....all of a sudden he jumps up on me and starts humping my leg like there's no tomorrow...i locked him in a bedroom so i could do my work and ask a dog expert friend of ours what's up with that behavior...she said that he was establishing himself as the alpha male...does anyone agree with this theory or?????

He tore the faces off the other stuffed ones until he found one he liked. Seems reasonable...
