Not a furnace at all. Just a return, open to outdoor air only, a big assed burner, [no HX] and a 5 hp blower. These guys HATE their Reznor. Any other mfgr's out there?

    What's the application Jack?

I remember the first time we saw one of these direct fired MAU's. My service manager looked in there and he said," The freaking ductwork is on fire."

I would get rid of the direct fired and go with an indirect fired, Sterling makes a very "affordable" one, I put a few of em in, and there are others as the guys said.
    King is good but pricey.

I have to agree. I had excellent service from them.

I called one morning needing a part, I gave the tech support guy the model and serial and part name. It arrived the next day at the place I was working at. I thought a couple days later "I never gave him an address.", he knew from serial number where it was located.

So now that you have 10 other manufacturers.. what's the matter with the Reznor? Why do they hate it?

Reznor makes decent stuff...........that's true..maybe it is old or installed wrong, or like I said, get an indirect fired unit, not as efficient but safer.
