    well go the compressor in., the system vacuumed and about 75%of factory charge in.... to find no suction pressure... looks like I have to find a restriction... had 135 high side with 0 low side with and no ccpr ajdusments help

    If you went with MP66 (R401b) don't panic just yet. @ 1/2 psig. your temp. is -20*
    And your discharge looks good to depending on the ambient @ the condenser coil.

    What gas did you put in?

    cap tube.
    new filter drier (no temp drop)
    called up traulse got the specs for the cap tube.. they want .049 all I can find is .050....

    is mp66 100% of charge on r12? I was going to start at 75 and work my way up.

    How long did you let it pull down ? It's going to take some time with a cap tube.
    Did the fans come on ?
    What's the frost pattern on the coil ?

    ran it for 20 min. the fans never came on... every once in a while I would get a suction of4-5 psi and it would start getting cold and the just bottom right out to zero. ambient at the coil was 80 (off the top of my head)

    Your fans might have come on for a very short time. You might need to pull the fan delay switch and test it.
