    Carrier CCN

Anybody know what comm protocol the Carrier CCN network is? Modbus maybe or some proprietary thing like JCI N2.

    Thanks.
I am bidding on taking out some Carrier and planning on putting in somenew JCI stuff, likely on Bacnet. Do you think the comm wire will be sufficient? I am kinda doing this estimate blind from the desk.

Our company policy is to never use existing comm. You never know what shape it is or how it was run. Not worth the headache.

The thing is we are not in the business of putting someone else's front end on our system. We are in business of putting other systems under WebCTRL.
