    BACnet MSTP with Wireshark and Windows

    If you want to analyze MSTP with Wireshark you can check into Steve Karg and lookup mstpcap.exe which is a nifty little application for using Wireshark with bacnet MSTP.

    I am using a FTDI based USB-RS485 converter (need latest driver).
    So, you launch the mstpcap with the appropriate conditions and you are good to go.

    All of you bacnetters should have something for MSTP analysis.

    But it's always nice to bring it up again for anyone new to the site.

    It is part of my constant re-education process. It is not only bacnet. LON has the same problem.
