    I work on lots of "crap" and they are all different manufacturer's eqpt. The only common element in a "crap" system is the installer.........

    I suspect you are currently installing your own problems. You have two choices.

    You can stick around and learn how to size a system correctly or get mad.

    A duct slide rule is worthless when you have used rules of thumb to determine the load.

    OK! Is that it? Goodman, Carrier,Lennox,Trane, whatever is not crap. They are machines and machines sometimes have problems. They have more problems when they are installed incorrectly. I do not install Goodman, but I have worked on properly installed Goodmans and they work well. Get you head straight when it comes to this point and you will be a better person for it..
