At least you guys get a pity smile. I give them tears in their eyes because I could be their grandpa with early stages of Altheimers.

But I still flirt with them.

Things that tick me off...
...Techs that don't use thermometers, meters, amprobes, or their eyes.
...The person who feels a need to run the median while stuck in traffic.
...Fart pipes
Pleasurable things...
...Saturday morning cartoons
...Driving down snaking scenic backroads, wether in a car or in my work van it makes no difference.
...Breyers vanilla ice cream
...A fast paced book.
...My kid.
...Auto restoration.
...A cold beer after a particularly long hot day.
...A good cigar to go along with the above beer.
...Life, liberrty, and the persuit of horse power ;-)

when I share something with someone and they apreciate it.
being asked to share something with someone else.
being with my family, anywhere, anytime ... for almost any reason.
be it a holiday assembly or having some of them show up at the ER late at night cause my wife had a kidney stone or chest pain.
(again)
crawling into bed late at night after a long day in the field.
slamming the door after the last tool is put away after a long, hot job is finally complete.
finding a bargain on a tool I have been drooling over for months.
having the funds to buy that tool I have been drooling over for months.
bringing home the bacon, every payday.
paying my bills on time.
diagnosing a problem system which has had others there who never got it fixed.
being around friendly people here in Texas.

Father-in-law has it now. Medicated because they want him stronger for the operation.Originally posted by R12rules
