If I remember right. This unit is a giant filter box with a merv 14 filter in it and a UVGI Light. Be careful of the pressure drop across a merv 14 filter. This is getting real close to a hepa style filter at 90 to 95% efficiancy rating where a hepa is like 99.95%. Also avoid direct site of the UV bulb, it will give you the worst welding burn you have ever had
The premise of ventilation is that the OA is clean or of sufficient quality to be used for dilution. Traditional ventilation is somewhat being threatened by the fact that the EPA is changing the requirements for outdoor air quality which is creating non-attainment zones in what is now becoming a significant portion of the country. That means that buildings in those areas will need to clean up the OA before they bring it into the building.

Calls for placement on high velocity units where pressure drop may be more of a problem?

You must be involved with AT500.

To answer your question I've heard of them but never used them.
    WHY?
