Here I got all excited and thought he meant Z-28. I had a boner there for a minute.
Very fast and powerful!

I did get a boner!
That's a heck of a set of tools.
Probably cost more than my truck!

You would be surprised how much truck you can still get for $5**.**
Fine Homebuilding just did a report on the 28 and had only good things to say. Some lithium technology

If it wasn't packaged in the red stuff with all that lettering that starts out with a Mil...... lol Hopefully they are improving thier cordless program ;-)
I bought Makita drills for the past six years. At least one a year as they have been stolen or broken.
About three weeks ago my Makita fell and broke at the handle. Being that it was already half broke didn't help matters. Anchor Hardware was out of the model I wanted so I opted for the Milwaukee 18 volt. I like it. First non-Makita drill I've bought. I wanted to try that 28 volt, but didn't want to fork out the money, plus I'm waiting to see if there are any problems with that type of battery.

then you would also like the cordless sawzall they make , it works sweet
Hey Square, You'll like the big Red ones, especially the Hatchet cordless sawzall. I did a Makita for a long time before I switched, and now I'm glad I did, Plus all the guys on the job wont waste their money on anything else.
I dont care for the V28's sawzall, but its as fast as the corded one!

Sometime in the future I'll purchase a nice cordless kit again.

Glad you like the new kit cool. You're the first I've heard about who bought the V-28. Sounds like it's doing well for you. How's the circular saw?
Get back to work.™
The circular saw seems to be the same as the 18v one, but rips through a 2X4 quite fast. (of course it has a sharp blade)
One of the coolest hack tools I got was their 6½" metal blade for the cordless saw, it rips through metal duct, tears up old units, cuts through metal roofs, comes in handy often!
I have had my Bosh 12V battery drill for 14 yrs and it still keeps on drilling one org battery one replacement the other guys used to hate it as I used to use it for screwing panels on on rtus and they couldn't budge the screws with their punny makitas HAh and it has out lasted all the makitias my buddies brought too
but I must say that kit would be a worthy replacement for the old Bosh
