    Is it a new install.
If not, have you cleaned the condenser coil.
    What type of metering device.
    Whats the indoor wb
    The outdoor db.
    What was the superheat.
    What was the subcooling.

Need alot more info then you posted.

Are you new to the trade.

    sorry for the comment.

high head w/ low suction, first, clean the condenser coil even if it "looks" clean.

second, do that and then give new pressures and temps.

    third, all temps.

Pull the sensing bulb of the txv, and warm it up and see if the suction pressure changes.

Are these the readings you found when you got there, or did you add gas.

    Your OP, kinda runs together.
    I got 75' lineset, a/h 20' above condenser.
    And the pressures.
    And off by smoke detector.

But you didn't include anything else you did.

Knowing the pressures alone is meaningless without knowing the superheat, subcooling, outdoor ambient temperature, and return air dry bulb and wet bulb temperatures.

You can't diagnose anything by pressures alone.
If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.
