Holy cow! Right through the brick even. sheesh. Has to be a ghetto job.

And to think I waste time making shrouds to go over the duct.

    I'll keep making them.

I wonder how long it will take for an animal to make a home in there or for a dog to chew it up.

Looks like the unit is an addition to the building. Where's the disconnect?

    Get back to work.™

I dont even want to guess if the flex goes into the crawl space. from that job they may just go into the living room wall, behind the tv so if they turn up the sound real load it will drown out a little air noise. wont short circut that much lol

In my neighbourhood, that unit would be in the back of a pickup truck and gone in about 10 minutes.

At least the left a neat pile of rubble from the bricks removed to cram that flex through the wall. Considering the looks of the building, these were left to allow the neighbors to throw through windows and do other vanadalism.

No doubt that system's yet another "internet sold product" that John Q. Handy Homeowner decided to DIY....

Anyway...I certainly hope they didn't pay for that installation!

wouldn't a DIY have used Romex instead of a whip? or... maybe he found the whip from somewhere else (side of the road?) and reused it.

At least it is not upside down. That whip is really special. LOL. Disconnect is Circuit Breaker, I guess. Thought it was supposed to be within sight of the equip.
If you really know how it works, you have an execellent chance of fixin' er up!

Tomorrow is promised to no one...

But look at all the room he gave the techs to work on it! It's not even close to the walls.
