Copeland compressor wiring

I got a call from a friend who had removed the wiring from a Copeland Compressor unit to replace the fan and forgot how to put it back. It is a three-phase unit. I was able to get it together but doing residential AC and having no wiring diagram for this I am curious about the fan. It is run through a pressure control, is this supposed to act as a control for low ambient conditions. Thanks.

Yup

Some units with multiple fans may have more than one fan cycling control to stage the fans.

next trip to a wholesaler who stocks Copeland ... pick yourself up a couple of those handy-dandy Copeland Electrical Handbooks. One for him and one for yourself.

They even have info for residential A/C units which use Copeland compressors.


Do the same with Tecumseh.

I just won this item on EBay, The Copeland Electrical Handbook (2005- 2006 Edition), I figured it was something that would come in handy. Is this the book you are referring too? Are there other books worth getting? Does anyone know what this book retails for?
I have wanted to get involved in refrigeration for a while but it is hard when you are self-employed.

I tried to find this book on the net to check the price but was unable. I does not look like a book they give away. It is hard covered and over 400 pages. Is this the same book?

written by a guy named Copeland

has nothing to do with refrigeration or
Copeland compressors

Emerson (owns Copeland) only publishes 1 electrical
handbook. it's got lot of pages but it is small in size
(maybe 5" X 7")

you can get it free , just go visit
a Copeland wholesaler
