    Rattled and shook the whole house. Glass broke and pictures broke. Just an every day thing. Air force training, Chase Field.

    I totally miss them and I'd guess they stopped in 1972 because I don't remember them past 1972. I was 7 then and remember them shaking the whole 1st grade and Kindygarden classrooms.

    have you ever heard those police helicopters flying 30 feet over your house at night? When the blades make that real loud clatter they are breaking the sound barrier the equivlant to the booms that we used to hear

    The unique thing about about the space shuttle landing is there's double sonic boom.....one from the nose and another from the tail. Boom-Boom!!!
