The pager goes off this morning

It's the kitchen manager at the university.

"I think the W.I freezer is short freon. The suction line is frosted and the alarms are blinking on all the coolers."

I tell him ice on a freezers suction line is okay and ask how cold is it in the box.

"Well it's imposible to tell because all the read outs on the alarms are messed up."


I tell him there are thermometers hanging in each box and go check.

"Oh everything is okay".

I tell him I know nothing about the alarm system and to call the company.

But it's impossible to tell how cold it's in the box. FUNNY!

jeesh Lynn you didn't want to roll and pick up an easy call out you could have made some $$ and told him in person

I was already on the way to an old folks home about the new W/I freezer that we just put in.

I got this call less than five minute before the kitchen manager called. This guy (we will call Jerry, because his name is Jerry) is stressing because I said I'd be there in an hour. He's saying the he has food in it. I tell him I can only drive so fast.

The local police departments have been very kind to me this summer and I don't want to press my luck.

Hey wait a minute. Something just dawned on me with this post. "Jerry" Benn" "Ben and Jerrys". They're in Vermont right? I think he is actually the famous ice cream company owner!! Can I get some freebies Jerry?????
