Any coil cleaner will damage aluminum coil if not rinsed.
De-Tints and you loose capacity of heat transfer, according to what I have read.
But, I have used green evaporator cleaner and not rinsed and usually ok. If it were me I would read what is on the bottle of cleaner and follow instructions.
