I've had Golden Retrivers for 25 years...Had to have my last one put to sleep 5 years ago, did'nt want another damn dog..[they kept me anchored to my farm too much...]
Thats about the time Copper Girl came into our lives..she was a rescue dog fom the pound,
Besides my wife she is the love of my life...
I would much rather spend my days' around dogs than most humans..
We just lost our Lemmon Beagle (Astro) last October, we now have a 15 year old poddle, 10 year old spitz , 4 year old
little mop dog and a 6 month old border collie/aussie mix.Our back yard is about 3/4 of an acreso they all run around alot but watch your step if you come over.
I have an older black lab that snores something terrible, also a cocker spaniel that thinks he is a guard dog lol, I think the best dog I had was a cocker mixed I picked up at a shelter, he was the only thing the ex and I fought about in the divorce should have just paid her off and kept the dog lol
